Playa Paraíso (Tulum Ruinas)

The postcard beach directly below the clifftop Tulum archaeological site, where the Maya walled city looks out over the Caribbean, the only Maya ruins built right on the coast.

Playa Paraiso is a wide crescent of white sand and turquoise water framed by the ruins on the bluff above, one of the most photographed beaches in Mexico, reached from the ruins or the beach road.
