Chemuyil

A small, laid-back beach fronting the village of Chemuyil between Akumal and Xel-Há, set in a palm-lined bay that is calmer and more sheltered than the open coast.

Long a low-key local favourite, it has a relaxed, uncommercial feel with a simple beach bar, drawing families and visitors after a quiet swim away from the bigger resort beaches.
