At the southern tip of the Hotel Zone around Km 22, Punta Nizuc marks the end of Cancún island and the start of the Mesoamerican reef.
It is a calm, shallow, tree-shaded beach known for snorkelling and diving over the coral and the MUSA underwater sculptures.
