Punta Solimán

A quiet, palm-lined crescent between Akumal and Tulum, Soliman Bay is a protected cove where an offshore reef keeps the water calm, shallow and clear, ideal for swimming, kayaking and snorkelling straight off the sand.

It has almost no commercial development, just a scatter of private villas and a couple of small restaurants, and public access is limited through the gated community.

It is a sea-turtle nesting area.
