A quiet, little-known beach at Km 16.5, Playa San Miguelito sits beside the Museo Maya de Cancún and the San Miguelito archaeological zone, making it the only Hotel Zone beach where you can pair a Caribbean swim with a walk through Mayan ruins.
It has around 400 metres of fine white sand and moderate to strong open-sea surf, and its low profile keeps the crowds away.
