Playa Colosio (Calle 72)

A quieter public beach in the northern Colosio neighbourhood of Playa del Carmen around Calle 72, reached by local access paths rather than the tourist strip.

Its low-key, largely local feel and lack of beach clubs make it a calmer alternative to the central Mamitas area, a short distance south of Coco Beach.
