Playa Norte

Consistently rated one of the finest beaches in Mexico, Playa Norte sits at the northern tip of Isla Mujeres.

Its powder-white sand gives way to broad, waist-deep turquoise flats that shift through several shades of blue, and because it faces the sheltered leeward side there are virtually no waves.

Its west-facing aspect makes it a celebrated sunset spot, and the reef position keeps it largely free of sargassum.
