Playa El Valle

A remote horseshoe bay north of Samaná town, El Valle is enclosed by green mountains and reached by a winding mountain road, giving it a dramatic, end-of-the-world feel.

Its wide sand and stronger surf, backed by a small fishing community, make it a rugged, little-visited beach.
