A tiny lobster-fishing village at the southern edge of Sian Ka'an, Punta Herrero sits behind a long stretch of reef and is one of the most isolated settlements on the coast.
It is a remote fly-fishing and lobstering outpost with almost no development, reached by a long rough track.
