Punta Allen

A remote fishing village at the tip of a narrow peninsula inside the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, reached by a long unpaved road south of Tulum.

Known for fly-fishing, lobster and small-boat tours to the reef and lagoon, it is one of the most isolated inhabited spots on the coast, with sandy streets, few services and a strong ecotourism focus.
