Isla de la Pasión

A tiny private island off the northern tip of Cozumel, reached only by boat across a shallow turquoise channel, Isla de la Pasión (Passion Island) is ringed by some of the calmest, clearest, shallowest water in the area, protected by its position and mangrove-lined lagoon.

Barely half a mile long and run as a single all-inclusive beach club with a daily guest cap, it stays uncrowded, and Tripadvisor named it the world's best beach in its 2026 Travellers' Choice awards.
